Welcome to the Jefferson County West Virgina History Site. 

This site is a combination of The West Virginia GeoHistory/Geo-Explorer and Jefferson County Government and is maintained by the County Archivist. 

This site is built on Joomla as a website, Mediawiki as a display layer and NextCloud as a repository for the data and search functionality. The entire Published Geohistory database has been imported into our archive. We are currently working through Bill's original Hard Drives over 9TB of data. 1.7 million filles.
